How do I register for a class?

Under the “Classes” tab, go to “Class Registration.” Click on the class you would like to register for and you will then be able to login into your current account or create an account for any new students.

When can i register?

Registration for school year classes opens in April and then closes in November. Any student is welcome to register or get on the waitlist during this time. Registration for events varies per event.

How do I add/update a credit card to my account?

Through the Parent Portal under your billing information.

what does tuition include and how does it work?

Tuition fees are based on a 10 month year, not on a monthly or per class charge. Credits are not given for absences, holidays or snow closings. Every class has an alternative class time if you need to make up any lessons missed. The school year tuition is billed at the beginning of each year with options to pay in full, ½ year or equal monthly installments. All tuition is payable by credit card (preferable method of payment), check or cash. Recurring payments are set up on file. Class tuition does not include any costumes or end of the year recital show fees. All summer camp fees and summer class tuition is separate from the regular school tuition and is listed on the individual summer camp and class brochures.

when is tuition due?

Monthly installments are due on the 10th of each month. Your card on file will automatically be charged unless you’ve chosen to pay in full, by semester or have confirmed with the studio owner that you will pay using an alternate method.

Do you offer any discounts?

A $100 discount applies if tuition is paid in full at time of registration for the school year (10 months). You will receive a $25 discount for each bi-annual payment each semester, if you pay half at the beginning of the semester (a $50 savings per year). We also offer a 10% discount for all family siblings.

can I watch my dancer’s class?

To ensure a structured learning environment we refrain from allowing guests or family members inside the classroom to observe but always welcome anyone to watch from our lobby. We have closed circuit TV monitors located in our lobby for parents to watch their dancer’s class. We also provide free Wi-Fi for all guests while they are in our facility.

how do you handle studio closures?

We do not follow a specific school schedule for holiday closures. Please view our calendar here for any pre-determined studio closures. Closures due to inclement weather or other unforseen circumstances will be determined by the studio owner and will be announced on our social media. Credits or refunds are not given for closings.

Does NDC sell shoes and clothing for dance?

We have a stocked supply of ballet, tap and turn shoes available for sale at our upstairs office. Any sizes not in stock can be ordered and will usually arrives within a few weeks. We also sell footed and footless dance tights for children to wear to class.

how does my dancer audition for company?

Company auditions are held in the spring for interested dancers. Our company accepts dancers ages 6-18, who are ready for a serious time and financial commitment. Auditions are announced on our social media and broken up into age divisions. Company teams are announced in the summer. For more info, please contact info@nashvilledancecenter.com.
